About me and my website
I have always had a keen interest in amateur photography. This website has enabled to display some of the pictures I have taken in recent years.
I have been lucky to enjoy the exciting growth of digital still photography in recent years. I had delved in film photography many years earlier amusing myself with black and white darkroom work. I joined the Pound Hill Camera Club and learnt much from helpful colleagues. Now the new darkroom is Lightroom, a whole new art in itself. I have maintained a great interest in all sport, a subject that I specialised in, and I was awarded a Licentiate (LRPS) of the Royal Photographic Society with a portfolio of sports photos (slides) covering rugby, baseball, showjumping, American football and cricket. I also became the club photographer for a local football team. This was great fun with regular contributions in the club programme.
